3 years in and still like new!

I love my rack. It is used daily all winter long, as I do laundry for 9 without a dryer. It's permanent furniture in front of the fire.

It is so unusual to find a product of any sort nowadays that is beautiful, durable and does its job perfectly, but your family has done it!

Go Big!

Love this drying rack! Its perfect for our family of six, especially in the Fall and Winter when we need an alternative to our outside clothes line. It is so well made and fits a full load of laundry. Worth every penny!!!!

After using it I have to say I absolutely love it and I'm glad I got the largest size! It holds a whole load of laundry or one queen sized comforter with some room for a small load of clothes. My husband and I aren't large people so one dowel holds 3 shirts. We got it about a week after ordering and we live in Arizona. I didn't know it was a assemblage required item.. but me and my husband got it put together in about 2 hours with the "help" of our toddler. The pictures kinda helped and some of the dowels had to be pounded in. I was impressed by the smoothness of the wood and the overall craftsmanship though. I am so glad to be saving some money so we can use it for other things besides laundry in our apartment. I figure in 3 months it'll pay for itself. The customer service by email was really quick and friendly too! thanks !

Awesome!

I really love this drying rack. Its very sturdy and doesn't blow over in the Texas wind even full of wet clothes. It shipped right away after ordering as well. Also, the money I am saving by not running a clothes dryer is a great thing--I figure it will have paid for itself in just a couple months. It was well worth the money. Thanks again!!

Terrific Way to Save Money!

I'd always had a small, wobbly drying rack for our clothing that wasn't dryer safe and it had always been an annoyance to me. The rods were so close together, I couldn't use all of them because the clothes would drape onto each other and not dry. Also the rods were so thin that there would be a fold mark dried into some of the clothes. I saw the Homestead Store racks at a convention and was impressed with the stability of the rack and the thickness of the rods, but didn't want to pay the high price. Over the winter, our electric bill leapt to $350 a month. I didn't want to hang our clothes outside and have them freeze but I remembered the Homestead Store racks. I bought the largest one and in one month, our electric bill had dropped to $250. Four months later, I am ready to buy a second rack, because a large load didn't quite fit on the rack and I'm still using the rickety rack for the excess. Thanks for a high quality product that saves us money!
